This happened to me while I was working on a Colorado daily. I had someone in the office doing a story when two reporters – who were roommates – had a fist-y-cuff fight in the office knocking over chairs and typewriters (yes, it was a LONG time ago). My comment to the person I interviewed? “You get your money’s worth working here!”
