Contributor Guidelines
We are always on the lookout for compelling content for SoCalPRBlog. To be considered, a contributor must fit the following criteria:
- At least four years of public relations, marketing and/or social media experience for an agency or at an in-house position
- Good standing within the public relations community
Content Guidelines
- SoCalPRBlog Editors reserve the right to reject content not deemed applicable or appropriate for the site for any reason
- Content topics must be approved in advance by the editor of the blog category (i.e., Media Pulse, Worth, Digital Cocktail, etc.)
- Content must be non-promotional and should not detail clients unless it is appropriate to topic. SoCalPRBlog is a resource, not a channel for client or agency marketing
- Content submitted is subject to being edited down for length with approval from the contributor
- All content must be under 1,250 words in Word document and must be accompanied by headshot/image in JPEG format and 2-3 sentence boilerplate on yourself
- All content must be the original work of the contributor and must be exclusive to SoCalPRBlog
